I wasn't able to post a blog last night due to a dramatic situation between my mom and I. Let's get the honest truth out there: my mom and I don't get along. We fight at least once every two weeks, and the days between each fight we're really irritated with each other. She is very overwhelming when she gives instructions, and it can get a little rough. I like my instructions short, sweet, and to the point. She on the other hand LOVES to go on and on and on and on...detailing everything. Take this morning for example. I cut some grapefruit, and was placing them on the table when she told me to, "Pick up the knife, wipe it down, make sure it doesn't have any fruit on it, put it in the dishwasher, wipe down the counter and make sure I rinse out the washcloth." Ok...A simple, "Clean up the counter." would've been really nice. Anyway, we got into a fight last night about her shutting off my computer before I had time to save my paper. I was so mad, but she didn't care. "Well be more responsible next time!"
When I finally got my laptop back from her, I finished my paper and sent it in to my teacher and decided to go to bed, figuring that if I posted anything, I might have said something extremely stupid and extremely rude about my mom.
Well...that's my explanation. More tonight on hopefully a happier day.
