Hello there. Kara here. I am starting a new blog, seeing that I had a hard time staying up to date with my other one. I guess it was because there are so many things to say but not enough time to say them.
So here I am. Once again telling about my life, opinions, and stories of other people.
Today is a Saturday, my favorite day. I find the weekdays pure stressful with school, the drama of girls, and constant attack on confidence that high school has perfected. But Saturdays...now that's something to look forward to. I somehow manage to wake up at 9:43 each morning, feeling fantastic. I ate breakfast, and showered. Another thing that I love about Saturdays is that I can wear my sweats and hair pulled back with no make up on and not be judged for it.
I got onto the computer and opened my email, which was full with the usual "We found these scholarships for you!" emails, but I wasn't impressed with any of them. I have several accounts for different scholarship websites, but not once have I gotten what I've applied for. Most of the scholarships that are "matched" with my information don't even match me. But I keep trying. College won't pay for itself.
Quick snack of the day: turkey cucumber sandwich.
Two pieces of wheat bread
A small piece of cucumber
Spike (seasoning found at basically any grocery store)
Turkey slices
Take two pieces of wheat bread and toast them. Spread mayo on each piece to avoid it drying out. Peel and cut the cucumber. Place a piece of turkey on the bread, and lay the cucumbers on top. Sprinkle Spike on the cucumber, then add another piece of turkey. Top with the other piece of bread. Enjoy!
Opinion of the day: Kids
Babysitting my nieces and nephews makes me want kids less and less.
That's all for now!
Kara
